A fundamental mistake when considering violence is to limit the use of violence only to the individual and not to the collective. however, the collective’s use of violence against the individual is by far the most extensive. Another mistake in the consideration of violence that is directly related today is to restrict the use of violence only to those forms of violence that are obvious in nature, while concealed and subtle forms of violence are systematically disregarded. the latter in particular is symptomatic of the present, whose use of force is becoming more and more effective but at the same time more and more concealed.
